Application Aware Testing

Testing traditionally accounts for approximately one third of the
total cost and time of any project.

While Unit Testing and Integration testing are difficult enough to achieve, User Acceptance Testing is invariably the main challenge.

Although you may be able to get users to commit to one test it can be difficult to get them to stick to the scripts and it is nigh on impossible to get them back for subsequent test cycles.

User Acceptance Testing is invariably therefore carried out at Go Live with the subsequent impact that this has on the system, your business and your reputation to be able to deliver a quality service.

velos-IT have addressed this situation by automating end user functional testing, allowing our customers to run over 200 application specific functional tests every night for several months prior to go live. While each set of test suites is customer specific, through our development process we have created a library of eBusiness Suite and JD Edwards tests which can be used as a basis for any new customer to formalise and automate their End User Regression Testing process.

Once live, full regression tests can be carried out for even the smallest of changes leading to an ongoing enhanced stability of the customer's business critical applications.
